Room 295 is a large meeting room with configurable seating and a large display (the touchcreen is not in service due to COVID). You can use the display from a laptop with an HDMI cable (we have HDMI cables but not adapters or converters to other connectors. The room holds 5 people max due to COVID social distancing requirements. Please let staff know if you require any specific accommodations.
The room is only open while the Makerspace is open.
All university COVID precautions must be followed (masks, university campus health check form, and social distance where possible)
Users must have a defined project to be worked on during their time – we are not currently open for hanging out or studying.
There is significant construction in the Makerspace until the end of November 2020 – it’s possible that even with a reservation students will have to work in another area of the Makerspace or may have to tolerate loud noises.
